About Us

GPS helps people and businesses navigate a route to success.

Our Story

CEO and founder Charles S. Gallman opened his first GPS staffing and recruiting company in Orangeburg, SC, in 1985. Over the years, he grew both the services offered and the reach extended by the company to meet growing demand. In 2018, Charlie retired but remains as the Chairman of the Board. Nanci Fields, who was hired in 1986 two weeks after she started college, took over as President/CEO. MJ Sorrell, who joined the team in 1988, was promoted to CCO. Jeff Gallman, having grown up in the company, was promoted to Chief Direct-Hire Officer. We  have offices in Columbia, SC; Newberry, SC; Orangeburg, SC; Summerville, SC; Hot Springs, AR; and Tucson, AZ.
