SDS Sheets/Chemicals
GPS challenge of the week…Find out where the SDS sheets are located! SDS sheets replaced MSDS sheets several years ago. SDS (Safety Data Sheets) are a 16-part form that provides information concerning a chemical. Some of the information you will find on the SDS is: identification, hazards, first aid measures, firefighting measures, PPE requirements, how to handle the chemical, the stability of the chemical, the toxicity of the chemical, proper disposal of the chemical and regularity information of a chemical. Be familiar with the chemicals that are at your worksite and know where to find the SDS.
