Avoid Bloodborne Pathogens!

GPS challenge of the week…Avoid Bloodborne Pathogens! Bloodborne pathogens may be present in human blood and can cause diseases in humans. These pathogens include but are not limited to Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C and HIV. The greatest risk of infection is through needle stick, cuts and puncture contact with infected blood. Also, body fluids visibly contaminated with blood like feces and nasal secretions can also be contaminated.

Wear gloves to avoid contact when exposed to human blood or bodily fluids.
